Child Care Teacher

*WHO WE ARE:* Altoona 8th Street is focused on providing high quality child care to our community.
We are moving to smaller classroom sizes with lower child to adult ratios and need to additional teachers to join our team! *WHO WE WANT:* We are looking for an experienced provider( at least 1 year of experience with children) who embodies our loving and positive atmosphere.
We provide care for a diverse community and are looking for teachers with differing backgrounds that represent the children in our program.
Our children learn through play and exploration.
We are in need of a teacher who knows transitions, can potty train (we have child sized potties in classrooms).
Our care providers plan weekly curriculum using Creative Curriculum.
Our teachers provide daily care routines such as meal times (prep and clean up required), diapering/potting, rest times, active play times, and learning center times.
Teachers are required to provide care in accordance to HHS child care safety regulations with no exceptions.
