00 per hour (Pay rate based on experience and education) *Job Type: *Full-time *Number of Openings*: 3 *Shifts/Schedule:* 4-day work week, 10-hour Shift, 6:30 am - 4:30 pm OR 7:30 am - 5:30 pm *Location:* 6355 Beechtree Drive, West Des Moines, IA 50266 *Benefits/Perks:* - Dental Insurance - Employee discount - Flexible schedule - Health insurance - Paid time off - Professional development assistance - Referral program *Qualifications:* - High school diploma or GED required - Higher education preferred (Certification/Certificate, associate degree, or higher) - Child-related experience or degree preferred - Familiarity with Montessori teaching methods beneficial - Experience in education, childcare, or adult care fields - Minimum age requirement: 18 years *Physical Requirements (with or without accommodation):* - Ability to walk and be on feet for up to 12 hours a day - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds - Ability to bend repeatedly *License/Certification:* First Aid & CPR Certification (Preferred) *Essential Functions:* *As an Infant Co-Teacher, you will:* - Provide high-quality care promoting children's healthy development.
- Maintain positive communication with families and conduct parent/teacher interviews.
- Assist in planning a stimulating, developmentally appropriate program.
- Supervise children and attend to their physical needs.
- Ensure a healthy and safe environment.
- Participate in program coordination and professional development.
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism.
