Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our team.
As a teacher in our center, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children.
Your role will involve implementing age-appropriate activities, ensuring the well-being of the children, and promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Duties:
- Help create and implement lesson plans that align with the daycare's curriculum and promote learning and development
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children under your care
- Supervise and engage children in various activities, including playtime, arts and crafts, storytime, and outdoor play
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and other staff members
- Monitor children's behavior and address any disciplinary issues using appropriate behavior management techniques
- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and promoting healthy eating habits
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the daycare facility
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and coordinate activities and events
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Experience in caregiving or childcare settings
- Ability to provide attentive care to toddlers and preschool-aged children
- First aid certification is preferred
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Previous experience in nannying or working with children is a plus
- Effective communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors in a positive manner
