Position Title: Children's Area Special Program Associate

Power Wellness serves hospitals, healthcare systems, universities and community colleges with varying portfolios.
We provide a comprehensive menu of services to plan, create, develop and manage an inviting, customized, and economically self-sustaining fitness and wellness center.
Position Summary:
-Plan and provide camp activities to children in a safe, caring, secure and effective manner with age appropriate interactions and play activities.
-Monitor appropriate entry and exit of adults and children.
-Supervise kids’ birthday parties including basic set up and tear down of rooms and activities during the party.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1.
Be proficient in all core business software as it relates to job duties and responsibilities.
2.
Work towards meeting departmental and organizational goals.
3.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during interactions and work related
relationships with all persons at the center including but not limited to members, guests and employees as provided in the Employee Handbook at the time of hire.
4.
Must meet all safety requirements and certifications necessary to perform job duties.
5.
Demonstrate Power Wellness Core Values & Beliefs.
6.
The ability to be flexible and accommodating as it relates to center hours and work schedules.
7.
Demonstrate complete knowledge of emergency and safety procedures including the use of facility paging system and confidence in calling EMS.
8.
Greet children and parents in a positive, upbeat manner, while checking children in and out of the secured children's area according to center policy.
9.
Be well-versed and knowledgeable of the center's camp and childcare policies, and
comfortable enforcing them to ensure a safe environment for all children.
10.
Provide parents and children a comfortable, safe and secure environment in a friendly setting.
11.
Respond to any camp participant issues related to service recovery and/or general program feedback in a timely manner and in coordination with management.
12.
Implement daily crafts, gym games and activities for participants of all age and skill levels to ensure safety and cooperation.
13.
Supervise birthday parties from beginning to end, including set up, activities and tear down after the event.
14.
Participate in Company's HIPAA and related training.
15.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during interactions and work-related relationships with all persons at the center including but not limited to members, guests and team members as provided in the Team Member Handbook at the time of hire.
16.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-High School diploma or GED required.
-Bachelor’s and/or Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college preferred.
-Minimum 2 years of experience in child development or related area preferred.
-CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire.
-Must possess excellent inter-personal and communication skills, and the ability to work with members in a positive, service based manner.
-Ability to multi-task and maintain a controlled and professional demeanor.
-Proficient computer skills.
