We are especially interested in those that have or are willing to obtain within 18 months of hire, their Child Development Associate Credential (CDA).

Child Care Teacher Example of Responsibilities:
Assist with planning and implementing educational/socialization programs for assigned groups of children, including those with special needs and who may have experienced trauma.
Develop a relationship with the children that ensures monitoring and support of individual progress toward goals, helps identify problems which prevent progress, helps identify solutions to those problems; helps provide necessary client support and direction in implementing solutions to identified problems.
Implement age-appropriate lesson plans on a timely basis incorporating field trips, individual observations, and creativity with a willingness to assist with new ideas.
Attend to personal, social-emotional and physical needs of children.

Requirements:
Minimum Requirements
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required, with experience in childcare, and have or can obtain the CDA.
Associate degree (AA) in Early Childhood education or in the process of obtaining one, is preferred.
For our Early Head Start rooms (6 weeks-36 months): Child Development Associate (CDA) Degree with Infant/Toddler coursework required (or willingness to sign contract to obtain).
