_*What you will be doing*_
* _Supervise __*daily and nightly routines*_ _to meet the needs of children/adolescence living within our campus - this includes actively engaging with youth, completing necessary documentation, assuring living spaces are clean and safe, administering medications, and providing information and referrals as appropriate_
* _*Provide support*_ _and interact with youth in a trauma-sensitive manner that promotes respect, honesty, non-judgment and empathy_
* _Coordinate and facilitate group activities, including the supervision of youth during special activities and outings_
* _Assume a __*leadership role*__, particularly during crises, to affect calm and effective solutions_
* _Work in collaboration with counselors, case managers, administrative staff, and all other members of our team to ensure each child staying with us receives the best care possible.
_

_*What you bring*_
* _High School diploma (or equivalent).
Associates Degree with 6 years’ experience in child welfare or Bachelor’s Degree in human service related field __*preferred*__.
_
* _*Knowledge*_ _in the field of child services required.
Knowledge or prior experience working with high-risk youth, especially with youth who have experienced abuse, neglect, homelessness or other traumatic experiences, __*preferred*__.
_
* _Hard-working, mature, and possess a __*strong desire to make a difference *__in the lives of our clients and their families.
_
* _*Excellent communication *__and interpersonal skills required.
_
* _Ability to __*make independent decisions*__, manage multiple functions under stress and with changing priorities.
_
* _Ability to deal tactfully with youth, family members, visitors, government agency representatives and the general public.
_
* _Able to provide __*positive role modeling *__for residents in areas of communication, decision-making, and problem solving_
* _Willing to participate in all scheduled meetings, trainings and supervision sessions as requested.
_
* _Acceptable background check and no record of child abuse.
