Tuesday, November 28 at The Des Moines Izaak Walton League, 4343 George Flagg Parkway, Des Moines 50321 to learn about their work and to help raise funds to support it! Iowa Bird Rehabilitation (IBR) is a wildlife rehabilitation center located in Iowa where they provide care for songbirds, waterfowl, gamebirds, shorebirds, and small raptors.
IBR was founded in 2012 and was formally established as a non-profit in 2018.
Currently, there is no other organization in central Iowa that provides the same unique benefits they offer to both the community and nature.
IBR has taken in over 10,000 birds to date, with an average yearly increase of 25%, admitting over 1800 birds in 2022 alone.
As conservationists IBR is an organization that deserves our support! Admission to the talk at 6:45 is FREE and open to the Public! Doors open at 5:30, with a Breaded Tenderloin dinner available for purchase and service beginning at 6.
