*YOUR ROLE:*
As the General Manager you will be responsible for maintaining effective daily business operations.
This includes responsibilities creating weekly schedules, managing inventory, ensuring a safe and clean work environment, and working in conjunction with Human Resources to deliver the various aspects of personnel management such as recruiting, training, coaching, employee performance evaluations, promotions, and general staff planning.
You will also assist Corporate Leadership in planning, promoting, and implementing strategies and tactics to attract new customers and repeat business.
You will lead a highly motivated team focused on delivering superior service, maximizing customer satisfaction, and responding efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.

*JOB REQUIREMENTS: * * Must be at least 21 years of age * 5+ years of restaurant experience preferred * 3 years of management and/or leadership experience preferred * Strong leadership and management abilities with high standards of service and professionalism.
* Exceptional time management and organization skills * Exceptional customer service skills * Strong working knowledge of food safety standards and regulations * Thrive in a fast paced work environment * Strong work ethic and accountability * Strong problem-solving skills and experience * Ability to lead a team and communicate efficiently, both verbally and in writing * Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
*RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE: * * Provides daily direction and general staff assignments ensuring adequate staffing and materials are available.
* Oversee daily operations of the restaurant.
* Manages all areas in front and back of house.
* Ensures high food quality and customer/employee safety.
* Creates a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service and ensuring all team members engage in conversations with guests to understand their needs and exceed their expectations * Maintains overall cleanliness of restaurant, inside and out * Conducts in coordination with Human Resources appropriate labor management processes including employee interviews, hiring, coaching, performance evaluations, corrective actions, and terminations.
* Ensures a positive team environment by recognizing and reinforcing individual and team accomplishments.
* Ensures that training and individual development opportunities are available to all staff.
Provides motivational leadership to fellow Jersey Mike’s team members.
* Ensures all Jersey Mike’s inventory control, food preparation, and cleaning procedures and guidelines are followed.
* Ensures that staff and management scheduling is completed and published in accordance with Human Resources’ policies, guidelines, and timelines.
* Assists Regional Manager and Corporate Executives with expense tracking, and local restaurant marketing and promotion.
* Conducts other responsibilities and duties as may be assigned.
