This Corporate Staff Accountant position is primarily responsible for preparing payroll benefit spreadsheets, reconciling amounts withheld to amounts billed by carriers for the communities we serve.
This person also does some billing functions, books monthly journal entries, prepares the daily cash report, and assists with supplier setup.
Must be flexible and able to accept various duties from day to day.

The Role: • Prepares benefit reconciliations for community payroll • Generates payroll billings • Prepares daily cash report on a rotating schedule • Assists with supplier setup on a rotating schedule • Prepares monthly journal entries • Prepares quarterly rebate calculations for our group purchasing organization • Researches internal and external questions Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting desired plus two to three years of related industry experience.
Knowledge and Experience: Must be proficient with Microsoft Office; must be very strong in Excel Must have effective verbal and written communication skills and be thorough and detail oriented.
Must have the ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines is necessary.
Must be customer service oriented, able to work independently and use good judgment in making routine decisions.
