The position is based in our Ames, Iowa corporate office.

This position assists with the administration of all aspects of WG Provisions, focusing on corporate functions, working directly for the Executive Assistant.
This position requires an energetic professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats.
*Responsibilities:* *Accounting:* · Assist with processing of invoices and payables · Assist with preparation of weekly payables runs · Assist with mailing checks and filing invoices · Assist in preparation of operations reports · Assist with invoicing and other accounting tasks as needed · Support reporting, daily business operations, end of month, and other processes for each of WG divisions · Assists with bank reconciliations, loan management and other financial processes necessary to support the business · Work collaboratively with WG managers to gain approval on all payables and ensure timely payment to our vendors · Lead collections through providing information to sales team to collect payment from customers; monitor overdue receivables; assist team with collections.
· Lead customer credit application process working with sales team to bring on new customers.
· Provide financial reports to managers and executives which assist in running business, comparable year to year, etc · Assist with processes related to contracts, leases, facilities, insurance and other needs necessary to run the WG businesses *Overall Company Administration:* · Ensures smooth operations of the company through providing office administration including overseeing necessary supplies, workspace, answering questions, providing guidance, streamlining communications, problem solving, handling incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring phones are answered properly, etc.
· Filing and other office support tasks.
· Assist visitors to the facility including contractors, mail delivery, etc.
· Answer phones, pick up and process mail, run errands and other basic clerical tasks · Assist with organizing data · Maintain a well-organized hardcopy filing system.
· Periodically review and clean up files · Light cleaning of the office and kitchen areas.
· Issue resolutions as needed.
· Other duties as assigned to support the goals of WG Provisions *Qualifications and Skills*: · High school diploma minimum; prefer associates degree or above · Minimum 4 years of accounting clerk experience · Experience with Quickbooks or other accounting systems · Excellent math and accounting skills · Deep organization skills and excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and prioritize tasks · Thrives in handling multiple tasks in a high paced environment · Background in products industry preferred, meat or agriculture products a plus · Experience working in an interdisciplinary and distributed organization; communicating across internal and external teams · Strong analytical work ethic, attention to detail and problem-solving skills · Strong computer skills; intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel & QuickBooks (or other similar software product); ability to learn new software and technology platforms · Strong math, detail, and accounting skills · Role model of sound judgement, personal responsibility, meeting deadlines and team player · Highly organized, self-motivated, responsive; excellent verbal and written communication, tact · Passion for agriculture, livestock, and meat industry *Reports to*: Executive Assistant Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.
